We are deeply committed to mentoring and helping young people heal and grow through the arts, education and lifeskills!

The Performers Academy (TPA) is dedicated to sharing the power & healing of the performing arts with the entire community. We are committed to helping and mentoring individuals to find their passion for the performing arts – especially those who may not otherwise be exposed to its power. TPA believes improving quality of life is heavily rooted in improving family and community engagement. We make every effort to expose our teens to all opportunities available for their personal enrichment, health, and peace of mind.

JUST LIKE ME 2023 MONTAGE

Just Like Me Cultural Arts and Educational Experience is a 3-week camp for 15 to 17-year-old teens. Created, hosted and run by The Performers Academy, in partnership with Family Support Services, talented artists lead the teens in an exploration of their experiences. The students learn to express themselves through the arts and share their stories with the community in a final performance.

The Performers Academy operates under the credo of “Acceptance With No Exceptions”. We value the rich talents of artists from all geographic, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. The Performers Academy offers a variety of artistic experiences and classes that are culturally diverse in nature as well as demographics. Our artistic professionals come from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities. Our staff mirrors our student demographics so that there is representation provided for each youth we represent.
