Kathryn McAvoy
Founder and Executive Director
Kathryn holds a BS in Communications Studies from Northwestern University and an MBA from Jacksonville University. A civic-minded individual, she has served on many non-profit Boards, including the Jacksonville Zoo, Jacksonville Film Events, Books by Kids and the DePaul School, among others. She began The Performers Academy in 2009 to provide arts for all, particularly the underserved teens who otherwise wouldn’t have access to the arts.
